It would seem billionaire tycoon Sir Richard Branson has a new number one fan, none other than Hollywood superstar Charlize Theron.

While the entrepreneur is all at sea after abandoning his bid to break the world record for crossing the Atlantic, the Academy Award-winning actress stepped out in Hollywood for a special fundraiser for his charity Virgin Unite.

And Charlize couldn’t say enough about Sir Richard: “He’s got to be that guy that we all just secretly want to live his life.”

“Even if it’s just for a week I mean wouldn’t that be incredible? If you had to pick one person he would be the guy for me, I would want to be him for a week.”

Despite having her own hugely successful career, the actress confessed to being in awe of the Virgin boss: “He’s an inspiration, I think we want to surround ourselves with people who inspire you and push you and this guy does that on a level that is out of control.”

Charlize Theron said she felt great while being directed by her boyfriend in their latest movie – “Battle in Seattle.”

“It was great. He loved directing and I’ve never seen him so happy – which hurts my feelings as his girlfriend!” the 33-year-old actress told reporters, according to People Magazine.

Theron said Stuart Townsend, her boyfriend of seven years, prepared five years for this project. The actress told reporters that during a vacation to Fiji, she was a bit disappointed that Townsend had a lot of research to do, while she was in the mood for love.

“I would be like, ‘Romance time!’ But he would have a pile of research and I would be like, ‘Oh my God, this is so not sexy!’ But that passion paid off,” she said.

On the other hand, the Irish actor who now makes his directorial debut with “Battle in Seattle,” said that, although he loved working with his girlfriend, it was kind of embarrassing. Theron once called him by his pet name and then all the crew started to call him by that name which was pretty embarrassing, Townsend said.

“I said to them, ‘That’s not cool. I’m trying to be a serious director here,’” the 35-year-old Irishman told the crew.

When asked to reveal the pet name, Townsend refused.

It must be great to be Charlize Theron. The Oscar-winning actress not only was paid $3 million to endorse a Swiss watch, but she has banked six figures to wear a luxury jewelry firm’s baubles to the Academy Awards and a British awards show, and has been lavished with valuable gifts from Cartier. The 33-year-old star’s deals were detailed yesterday in a judicial decision filed in U.S. District Court in New York, where Theron is being sued for breaching a contract with Raymond Weil, the high-end watch manufacturer. The September 30 court filing, an excerpt of which you’ll find below, reveals that Theron was paid $3 million for an 18-month endorsement of one of Weil’s watch lines (the firm claims the star violated terms of the 2005 deal by being photographed wearing a competitor’s wares). She also was paid $200,000 by Chopard to wear its jewels to the 2006 Oscars and received another $50,000 from the Swiss firm for wearing its gems to that year’s BAFTA awards in London (Theron is pictured above in a red carpet photo from the 2006 Oscars). While Theron wore Cartier diamond stud earrings and a “flower cuff bracelet” to the 2006 Golden Globe Awards, she was not paid by the firm. However, as Judge Colleen McMahon notes, Theron had previously received a $35,000 ring, $8000 earrings, and a $7500 bracelet as “tokens of appreciation” from the luxury retailer. While McMahon dismissed portions of Weil’s lawsuit against Theron, she directed the parties to engage in a pre-trial settlement conference this month.

Charlize Theron talked about her views on marriage and children when she was interviewed on the American talk show ‘The View’.

According to US Magazine, Theron was a guest on the show, to promote her film ‘Battle in Seattle’.

The film was written and directed by her long-term Irish partner Stuart Townsend.

When asked about marriage the 33-year-old Oscar-winner said: “I just know I don’t want it, Stuart doesn’t want it. Why mess with a good thing?

“Even when I was little, I never dreamed about walking down the aisle.”

When asked about having children, the actress joked: “Okay, let me break it to you, I actually have seven children nobody knows about!”

However, she added: “I always wanted to be a mom because I have always had such a close relationship with my own mom.”

Charlize Theron has confessed that she had a drink backstage before appearing on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno!. In fact, Leno, even arranged for a fresh margarita on stage for the stunning star when she sat down.

The stunning star was there to promote her film, The Battle in Seattle.Leno and Theron have had some good-natured fun experiences in the past. “You should be loose when you come out here,” the New York Daily News quoted Leno, as saying.

On this, Theron giggled and said that she and Leno had a tradition. “We’re very original – we just get drunk,” she said and offered him a sip of her margarita.

“I had some Ecstasy a minute ago. What do you like to do when you get a little loopie,” he said. “Apparently, I like to come on your show,” said Theron.

Later, Leno coaxed her into performing karaoke and then after a break, the duo finally got on to talking about the The Battle in Seattle, which she made with her long-time boyfriend Stuart Townsend.

“I’m here to tell you that the casting couch is alive and well,” she joked of the struggle to get in the film.
