Charlize Theron’s endorsement deal with one watchmaker may have ended in litigation, but her current gig promoting Breil Milano timepieces is coming along just nicely, thank you very much.
The famed Italian jeweler has jumped on board to support the Oscar winner’s Africa Outreach Project.
Breil will auction off a white gold 27.93-carat champagne diamond pavé Breil Milano Battio heart pendant next year to benefit the organization, which works to better the lives of impoverished families and children living in Theron’s native South Africa, especially those touched by HIV/AIDS.
Theron reached an out-of-court settlement earlier this month with Raymond Weil after the company sued her, alleging she broke their exclusivity agreement by wearing other companies’ timepieces during her 14-month contract with the Swiss watchmaker.
Seven months after the suit was filed, she was named a Breil spokesface, in a contract that ends in 2011. Her ad campaigns also include the company’s jeweled accessories and leather bags. Edward Norton also models for the company.

Actor PIERCE BROSNAN is calling on producers of THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR sequel to cast CHARLIZE THERON as his leading lady – instead of ANGELINA JOLIE.
The former James Bond star is due to begin shooting the new movie next year (09) – but he’s still yet to discover who he will be starring opposite.
And, despite summer (08) reports linking Jolie to the role, Brosnan admits he would prefer to have Monster actress Theron as his co-star.
He tells People.com, “Charlize Theron is someone who I’ve always admired. I think she’s someone who has acquitted herself grandly.
“Nothing against Angelina Jolie. I think she’s a magnificent actress. But Charlize has a poise about her and has an inner strength and femininity which I really like to watch.”
