Hollywood star Charlize Theron showed that she hasn’t forgotten how to steal the limelight as she rocked the red carpet in Los Angeles.

The Academy Award winning actress went for the all black look as she attended a party in Chinatown’s Historical Central Plaza.

36-year-old Charlize teamed a little black dress with a black blazer and black peep toe ankle boots with gold trim.

The South African born actress, who is 5ft 10, towered above other guests at the launch party for new computer game Rage and also hosted the night.

Charlize was able to get time off from filming blockbuster Snow White And The Huntsman in which she plays the Evil Queen.

The film – the first in a planned trilogy – is slated to be released in cinemas next year and also stars Twilight’s Kristen Stewart and Thor actor Chris Hemsworth.
