A new season of Top Chef premiered on Wednesday night on Bravo, this time based in Texas.

The show has 29 contestants competing to make the final cut, and there’s three big cities in the state to work with.

This season, host Padma Lakshmi and judge Tom Colicchio are dishing which celebrities will be seating at the judges table this season.

“I think everybody who comes on the show – especially if they’re not in the food business – has a certain level of interest in food,” Lakshmi told People. “These are cities you have to fly to, and you have to take a day or two out of your schedule.”

Patti LaBelle, Charlize Theron, Pee-wee Herman, Cat Cora, John Besh and Tim Love. are among the celebrity judges that will appear on this season of Top Chef.

Colicchio dished, “I’ve actually cooked with Charlize,” adding, “And she’s a serious, serious foodie and loves to cook.”

Next week, the contestants, who have been split up into two different groups, will compete in order for the judges to determine which 16 they will keep to go all the way.
