Charlize is gracing next months cover of Marie Claire UK (click here to view scans). Here’s a little blurb of the article from the magazine:
Charlize Theron weighs in with her thoughts on love and motherhood in a new interview with Marie Claire magazine.
The Oscar winner says of her longterm relationship with actor Stuart Townsend, “I don’t feel like I’m in survival mode any more. I feel like it’s OK, I can breathe, so I’m very grateful to him.”
Charlize, 33, and Stuart have been together for 8 years but though she says she definitely wants kids, motherhood doesn’t seem to be on the immediate horizon for the Monster star.
“I’ve always known that I wanted to be a mom. I love children. I’ve always loved children,” she says. “But I’m not like, ‘Oh my god, I really must have kids right now.’ I’ve never felt this pressing urge that some biological clock is ticking. We both want to be parents one day, but I’ve no idea when that will be.”
Though she looks forward to motherhood, Charlize has admitted in the past that she’s not too keen on pregnancy: “Getting pregnant doesn’t excite me, but having kids does. I know I’ll be a mother one day. It’s just that I don’t really want to look like a whale. But I’m sure the idea of something growing inside you is pretty powerful.”

Will Smith wants a drink, Charlize Theron wants to fly, Jason Reitman wants another kiss!

“Hancock” stars Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman talk about why they wanted to be in the movie and how the film finds the human being in a superhero.
But Jason lets it spill that he tried to drag out his sex scene with Charlize Theron. Wonder if she noticed? Will says he found it hard to concentrate while shooting with fans screaming at him on Hollywood Blvd. Duh.
As for superpowers, Will wants Hancock’s ability to drink like a fish. Charlize and Jason just want to want to be able to fly.
We’ll like both, please.

Charlize Theron is in the mood to talk. This month the notoriously private star talks to ELLE about marriage, babies, her body and why she won’t become another Hollywood party girl.
In the new issue of ELLE, on sale tomorrow, Charlize reveals how it’s her long-term partner, Irish actor Stuart Townsend who has been pushing her to open up about their idyllic, 7-year relationship, and the reasons why she’ll never marry him. ‘ I want to know that I wake up every morning because I want to, not because a pieces of paper says so’ she reveals. However he does call her his wife and she does wear a gold band of forget-me knots on her wedding finger that Townsend gave her ‘ I wear it all the time…it signifies my commitment to him.’ She will be having babies with him though, ‘ I be delighted if I found out I was pregnant tomorrow. I know I’m going to be a mother.. and Stuart will be our baby’s father.’

I just found out today that Charlize is featured in the July 2008 issue of the UK edition of GQ magazine in a ridiculously hot new photoshoot. I happened upon scans while I was looking around for more information and have added them to the gallery. If any of you have a copy of the magazine and can donate scans of the accompanying article, I’d be super grateful. I’ll be purchasing a copy for my own collection at some point too, so I’ll eventually have scans of the article available one way or the other.
Edit: I found a new set of scans that includes the article and the gallery has been updated with the new set.
