Good news: Charlize Theron and Robert Downey Jr. are a couple more stars you can expect to see at the Academy Awards this Sunday. According to People.com, the team behind the ceremony announced Theron, Downey Jr., and a slew of other stars who’ll be presenting Oscars to the winners yesterday.
Theron scored a Best Actress prize in 2003 for her turn as a killer in Monster, and she’s a constant fixture on the red carpet (we can’t wait to see her gown!) Star of The Road, Viggo Mortensen certainly looks dapper on the red carpet for the AFI Film Festival screening of the movie based on the Cormac McCarthy novel. But during filming of the movie, the actor reportedly didn’t shower at all during the course of filming in order to get into character.
This was news to his glamorous co-star, Charlize Theron, who is herself no stranger to roughing it. However, she was still surprised to hear the news of Mortensen’s method.
Theron told reporters, “What?! I didn’t hear that. I was only there for three days! Even if I didn’t shower for three days, that’s not that bad, right? Compared to an entire film!”

Last night, Charlize was in Beverly Hills to present the Breakthrough Actor award to Jeremy Renner during the 2009 Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony. Renner and Theron were co-stars in North Country. About 50 photos have been added to the gallery.

Usmagazine.com reported that the South African actress Charlize Theron kiss auctioned for 140 thousand dollars, to benefit a NGO for children. The winner was a woman whose bid exceeded that of all male competitors.
Charlize Theron also donated a trip to her home country and tickets for the 2010 World Cup but when the offers were at 37 thousand dollars, she included the kiss, saying that “considering the swine flu outbreak. It’s a dangerous kiss!”.
The winner of the prize directly asked for her kiss on stage.
The crowd controlled the time of the famous kiss whichreached 20 seconds, the actress, laughing, said “My boyfriend is not here tonight,” referring to his partner Stuart Townsend.
