In this exclusive clip from the season finale of E!’s semi-scripted show starring Chelsea Handler and the crew from her talk show Chelsea Lately, the writers and performers get a little lesson in karma when Handler’s A-list pal Charlize Theron unexpectedly shows up at a bar where they’re drinking.

At the beginning of the clip, the After Lately crew is at a bar making awkward conversation with Mike Rock, “the voice of the show.” Clearly bored by him, they start to make up excuses for why they all have to leave.
At that moment, Theron walks in and hugs Rock, as the rest of the group looks on, stunned. “Um, Mike, I didn’t know that you were friends with Charlize Theron,” Sarah Colonna says.

“Yeah, he’s one of my oldest friends. We’ve known each other for years,” Theron replies. “You guys are so lucky. I wish I got to work with him every day.”
Mike tells his famous pal that the rest of the crew has to leave, at which point everyone suddenly has a change of heart. One by one, they attempt to backtrack on their previous excuses — unsuccessfully.

Theron insists they all leave to tend to their other commitments, leaving her alone in the bar with Rock. After everyone else is gone, she quips, “You work with those guys? Total f–king losers.”
