I finally got off my butt and bought the March issue of Vanity Fair. I cant remember the last time I bought a magazine until today! Anyway, I scanned the Terry Richardson photoshoot of Charlize wearing a black bikini! You got a hot bod, Charlize!
I finally got off my butt and bought the March issue of Vanity Fair. I cant remember the last time I bought a magazine until today! Anyway, I scanned the Terry Richardson photoshoot of Charlize wearing a black bikini! You got a hot bod, Charlize!
Here are some screencaps of Charlize from ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’. I’ve also added one on-set image of Charlize. Check them out in the gallery!
In a world where Spike Lee has his own variety of Absolut and Will Ferrell devotedly shills for Old Milwaukee, it’s important to point out when the intersection of celebrities and booze actually results in something encouraging. Take Charlize Theron, who was photographed Sunday carrying some of America’s finest craft beer to a Super Bowl party. A whole case of it.
The Delaware brewery Dogfish Head is renowned far and wide for its IPAs, particularly the 60-minute variety of which Theron rocked over the weekend. At 6 percent ABV, it is the brewery’s smoothest, least potent IPA; the 90-minute and 120-minute versions top out around 9 percent and 20 percent, each named after the length of the brew’s sustained boil and continuous hopping. Which may not mean anything to non-beer enthusiasts, but trust me: After having to sit through five minutes of Super Bowl ads for something called “Bud Light Platinum,” little is as refreshing to a connoisseur as seeing an A-list, Oscar-winning actress treat our biggest sporting event as the stepping-up opportunity that it is.

Charlize Theron was surprised to discover the girl who “f***ed” her up in primary school now lives a “sad life”.
The 36-year-old actress was never popular when she was younger and unsuccessfully tried to befriend one of the most well-liked people in her class and Charlize revealed she recently ran into her childhood peer with surprising results.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I was pretty much a mess after primary school. There was a really popular girl at school and I was obsessed with her. You’d go to jail for that stuff today, I was in tears one day because I couldn’t sit next to her.
“Then three weeks ago I’m in London shooting a film. I was in a fitting and this girl goes, ‘Oh I know Charlize.’ And it was the girl that f***ed me up in primary school who now lives kind of a sad life.”
Charlize has gained more confidence with age and although many actresses in their 30s feel the need to resort to cosmetic surgery, she hopes she won’t succumb to the surgeon’s knife.
She said: “This is what I wake up with every morning so I’d better be comfortable with it. When I was younger I felt I had to prove to everybody I could do the job.
“I am 36 and loving it. I wouldn’t want to go back to my twenties. Some people have Botox and that’s great. But hopefully I’ll be OK without it.”

Charlize was photographed by Gavin Bond for Newsweek magazine together with other celebrities like George Clooney, Christopher Plummer, Tilda Swinton, Viola Davis and Michael Fassbender. There was also a bunch of interviews done with the celebrities together. You can watch them below:
By accident rather than design Charlize Theron took a three-year break from acting recently. Starring in Jason Reitman’s hilarious black comedy Young Adult marks a welcome return and it was, she says, the best working experience she’s ever had.
“It really was. And that’s quite something because I’ve had really amazing experiences. I think it was a combination of several things – the role, working with Jason, the material and the fact that I hadn’t really acted for three years.
“And to go back and have my first film in three years be Young Adult with Jason on a 30 day shoot, no hair and make up, sweat pants every day, and go to work and do some amazing character studies, was just a joy. Every single day I had a giant smile on my face and I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much.”
Her role in as Mavis Gary, who writes teenage fiction, drinks far too much and has an knack of saying the most inappropriate things at the most in-opportune times, almost didn’t happen and that makes it even sweeter, she says.
Q: Where did you first see the film?
A: I saw the first cut at my house. Jason was still in the process of working on the film so I think the same as I always think the first time I see a film that I’ve worked on – that it’s a little overwhelming (laughs). It’s fun but at the same time you are trying to get your head around what you were doing and how it all works together. So the first time you see something, it’s like putting the puzzle together, how we shot it and how it ended up and I don’t really have that experience of enjoying the film. The first time I saw this with an audience was when I really enjoyed it. I don’t think you understand what an audience will tap into or respond to until you see it with an audience.

CHARLIZE Theron likes to wallow in trash!
The Oscar winning beauty has “come out” as a reality TV addict insisting that following the likes of Kim Kardashian actually helps her movie performances due to the stress-busting qualities of their shows.
“I am a closet reality TV watcher,” says Charlize. “The more brain-dead they are, the more I like them. I realized a while back that the only thing I could do in my trailer to pass time was to watch these shows.
It’s almost like having a massage because your brain doesn’t have to think about anything and you’re not thinking about what’s happening outside of the trailer. Reality TV is like an instant off-switch for my brain.”
The actress recently admitted she cannot concentrate if she is surrounded by mess and will not stop until everything is tidy again.
“I have a bit of an OCD. I have to be incredibly clean and neat and tidy for some weird reason because otherwise my mind just switches off,” says Charlize, 36.
“I have to tidy up. I can’t help it but it is just one of those things.”

Charlize Theron plays Hollywood sex siren in a new photo shoot for Vanity Fair, magazine, although she’s far more down to earth in everyday life. She’s known to hold a drink, swear like a sailor and tell dirty jokes.
“One of the first times we met she told me a really dirty joke and that’s when I knew I loved her,” said Jason Reitman in a recent interview.
“Honestly, a woman with a dirty sense of humour is probably the most attractive thing on earth,” he added. Reitman should know. He directed Theron in “Young Adult,” where she plays a heavy-drinking, foul-mouthed free spirit, who is intent on revenge when she returns to her high school to seek out an old flame.
Charlize recounts in the interview one of her own early crushes.”I was so in love with Richard Dean Anderson [in] “MacGyver,” she said referring to an 1980s action-adventure television series about a secret agent.
In the photo shoot, the South African model, 36, wears a black short-waisted blazer, black panties and not much else. It’s just her against a white backdrop and that’s pretty much all you need.
Theron takes it from there in a series of sexy poses. The shoot moves to the street for a series of night time shots. Theron wears a a blazer, black monokini swimsuit and black stilettos. “Not a lot of people would get into a bathing suit and walk a street at night in LA, especially in this neighborhood,” she says.
The statuesque actress, who won an Oscar for best actress in 2003 for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the film “Monster,” was surprised she was left out of the running this year.
“It’s so bizarre to look at this as something to be bummed about because I’ve gotten some of the best reviews in my career for this and people have really responded to me in this role,” she said.
“That to me is the greatest gift because usually the joke between me and my producing partner is that any script that mentions crying, depression or torture lands on my desk! So it was nice to do something different and for people to like it, that to me is like winning an Academy Award,” she added.
Theron is next up in the Rupert Sanders-directed film “Snow White and the Huntsman,” starring Kristen Stewart, which is due in June. Judging from recent trailers she steals the movie as the wicked queen.
Then, she’ll appear in Ridley Scott’s “Alien” prequel “Prometheus,” due June 8. In the meantime, check out her photos and the video below:

By now the Prometheus ‘Ampule Room’ should be burned into your brains. It seems like two out of every three images released from the upcoming Ridley Scott sci-fi thriller feature a new angle on the cavernous room with the giant human head.
Now here comes another look at the ‘Ampule Room’ as scanned from the pages of Total Film magazine. It features two of the Prometheus ship explorers, one shining their flashlight right up the giant human head statue’s nose. Hopefully for their sake there’s not something slimy hiding up there.
Speaking of slimy, the article in Total Film accompanying the image (see below, and give it a click for a high-res look) offers up some new character details about the film. Specifically, it confirms that Charlize Theron’s Meredith Vickers character is, as rumors have suggested, a representative of corporate entity Weyland-Yutani.
Damon Lindelof of Lost fame, who did a reworking of the original Jon Spaihts’ script to supposedly make it less of an Alien prequel and more of a standalone story set in the same universe, told Total Film that Vickers will be less “slimy” than Burke from Aliens. Theron brought her own ideas to the character that will make Vickers “not the suit we are used to.” Your guess is as good as mine.
Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson and Guy Pearce. Look for it in theaters starting on June 8, 2012.
